For the iPhone users out there, Visit Britain has released an awesome new iPhone app. Called the Top 50 UK Attractions app, the app takes their Facebook page that gathers Facebook Check-in data for all the top UK tourist attractions and presents it in an easy to use package on your iPhone (or iPod touch).
The app serves several purposes – it can help you plan a trip to the top attractions based on their popularity, see key data, vote on your favorite attractions and more.
The coolest bit is that if you can check-in to an attraction right from the app without having to use the cumbersome Facebook app to do the same.

I’ve had a chance to play around with the app and it’s very well put together (it’s very easy to make a terrible app and they’ve not done that), speedy and fun to use.
