On Thursday September 29, VisitBritain and British Airways are inviting LA residents to step into one of Britain’s most famous streets without even leaving Hollywood Boulevard.
The giant 3D illusion of the iconic Abbey Road pedestrian crossing made famous by The Beatles will be at the Hollywood and Highland Center from 10.00 to 6.00pm.
Visitors will be able to pose with their friends or family on the crossing and recreate one of the most famous images in British pop music history. There will also be music, giveaways and special offers.
British Airways and Visit Britain are also offering people a chance to step off the canvas and into the real Abbey Road, with a luxury trip to Britain.
LA will be the one and only U.S. stop on the Great Britain 3D Global Tour which has made prior stops in Singapore, Sydney, Shanghai, Delhi, Utrecht, Stockholm and Milan. The final stop on the tour will be on October 1 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
